Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance
Funding for vaccine cold chain equipment that meets WHO Performance, Quality and Safety (PQS) standards in Gavi-eligible countries. For 2026–2030 (Gavi 6.0), Gavi consolidated its earlier cold chain funding streams, including the Cold Chain Equipment Optimisation Platform (CCEOP), health system strengthening and equity accelerator grants, into one Cash Budget per country, with a recommended CCE Minimum Floor for eligible products and services.

UNICEF Supply Division remains the standard procurement agency for Gavi's cold chain equipment funding under the Cash Budget. Minimum Floor products must meet WHO PQS standards and Gavi's own programme and technical requirements, and are listed on the Gavi-Eligible CCE Product List. Most deployments are supplier-led (suppliers or their local service providers handle in-country storage, distribution, installation and training); up to 24 countries may request country-led deployment with UNICEF Country Office support. Gavi 5.0 approvals not disbursed by the end of 2025 follow the Gavi 6.0 rules.

- Whether a model holds current WHO PQS status or appears on the Gavi-Eligible CCE Product List must be checked by the buyer against those official lists
