Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy sets out conduct that is not permitted on the ColdMatch Group platform. It supplements the Terms of Service, the Marketplace Rules and the Compliance Policy.

1. Prohibited conduct

You must not, and must not permit any person to, use the platform for:

  • Fraud, misrepresentation or the creation of fake companies or profiles.
  • Identity theft, impersonation or unauthorised use of a third party's credentials.
  • Submitting false, inflated or misleading technical or commercial information.
  • Trading in counterfeit, grey-market or non-compliant refrigeration equipment.
  • Violating export controls, dual-use restrictions or sanctions programmes.
  • Money laundering, terrorist financing or the financing of proliferation.
  • Bribery, kickbacks, facilitation payments or other forms of corruption.
  • Illegal trade in refrigerants, ozone-depleting substances or restricted chemicals.
  • Infringing any patent, trademark, copyright, trade secret or other IP right.
  • Harassment, threats, discrimination or unlawful content.
  • Scraping, harvesting, mirroring or reverse engineering the platform, its data or its supplier network, or attempting to circumvent security or rate limits.
  • Uploading malware, running attacks, or probing the platform without authorisation.
  • Circumventing the platform to avoid introductions or referral arrangements.

2. Verification and review

ColdMatch Group may review any account, RFQ or listing and may request documentation to verify identity, project legitimacy, end-use, ownership, source of funds or compliance status.

3. Suspension and termination

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, where appropriate and to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, to reject, throttle, restrict, suspend or permanently terminate any account, RFQ, listing or session that we reasonably believe violates this policy, applicable law or our other legal documents, without notice and without liability.

4. Reporting

Report suspected abuse, fraud or IP infringement to legal@coldmatchgroup.com. Security vulnerabilities should be reported per our Cyber Security & Responsible Disclosure policy.
