Cookie Policy
Version 2.2 · Last updated: 25 October 2026
This policy explains the cookies and similar browser storage used on coldmatchgroup.com by ColdMatch Group. It supplements the Privacy Policy.
The same control is at the bottom of every page. Changes apply straight away.
1. How choices work
- Strictly necessary storage always runs because the site cannot work without it.
- Analytics and advertising are optional. In the EEA, the UK, Switzerland, Brazil and Canada — and whenever we cannot tell where you are — they stay off until you accept. Continuing to browse is not consent.
- Outside those regions they run by default; you can turn them off at any time.
- If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, advertising measurement stays off wherever you are, whatever was chosen before.
- Accepting and rejecting are equally easy. If you withdraw, Google scripts stop and the page reloads so they are no longer loaded; choices sync across open tabs.
- We use Google Consent Mode, so Google tags are told your choice. When a category is off, its Google scripts are not loaded at all.
- Your choice is stored in your browser for 12 months, and we do not ask again during that time unless you clear your browser data, change it yourself in Cookie settings, or we add a new kind of optional tracking that needs your consent. After 12 months the notice asks you again.
2. What we use
| Name | Category | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| cm_consent (local storage and first-party cookie) | Strictly necessary | ColdMatch | Remembers your cookie choice, the notice version and when you chose | 12 months from your choice (cookie Max-Age 365 days); the notice then asks again. Clearing browser data or changing your choice also resets it |
| Sign-in session (local storage / cookie) | Strictly necessary | ColdMatch (Lovable Cloud) | Keeps buyer, supplier and team accounts signed in | Until you sign out or the session expires |
| Form drafts, language and interface settings (local / session storage) | Strictly necessary | ColdMatch | Keeps what you typed and the language you chose | Session, or until cleared |
| Security cookies | Strictly necessary | Cloudflare | Protects the site against abuse and bots | Set by Cloudflare, typically up to 1 year |
| _ga, _ga_* | Analytics (optional) | Google Analytics 4 | Counts visits and pages viewed | Up to 2 years (set by Google) |
| Visit statistics (session storage) | Analytics (optional) | ColdMatch | Records page views, referring site, campaign parameters, country, language and device type in our own database | Browser session |
| _gcl_*, Google Ads / Tag Manager cookies | Advertising (optional) | Google Ads, Google Tag Manager | Measures which ads lead to requests (conversion measurement) | Up to 90 days or as set by Google |
Cookie names and durations set by Google and Cloudflare are controlled by them and can change; see their own documentation.
3. Other third-party content
Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts Google servers. Opening WhatsApp, LinkedIn or other sharing links takes you to those services, whose own policies then apply.
4. Browser controls
You can also delete or block cookies in your browser. Blocking strictly necessary storage will stop sign-in and form drafts from working.
5. Contact
