Supplier sourcing support for cold chain consultants
We work through you, not around you. Cold chain consultants, refrigeration engineers and cold storage advisors use ColdMatch Group for supplier sourcing, cold room RFQ support, quote comparison and financing direction. Your client relationship stays with you — and you decide how involved we are.
Supplier-neutral procurement platform. Not a manufacturer, distributor, EPC contractor, installer or lender. Projects typically from USD $250,000 to $100M+.
We can sign an NDA first if you prefer, and project details never leave the suppliers you approve.
We earn nothing from which supplier your client picks.
We don't contact your client unless you ask us to.
We join technical calls only when you invite us.
Who the program is built for
How it works
1 · You send one project
Country, project type, budget range, timeline and what equipment is needed. Two minutes — no client contact details required.
2 · We find and check suppliers
We search our network and the wider market and check candidates against published criteria before anything reaches you.
3 · We prepare the RFQ
One RFQ goes to the shortlist so quotes come back comparable line by line — scope, exclusions, Incoterms, warranty and commissioning.
4 · You present it to your client
You get the comparison pack, in your brand if you prefer. You keep the relationship, the fee and the final recommendation.
Your client relationship stays with you
You stay the advisor your client talks to. Supplier questions, clarifications and quotes come back through you — we only speak to your client if you ask us to. If it's easier, we can also work quietly in the background under your own brand.
- We can sign an NDA before you share anything
- Comparison packs can carry your brand, not ours
- Your client's project details are never resold or published
- Repeat projects from your client stay yours
What we do behind you
Supplier sourcing support
Shortlists of qualified third-party manufacturers, integrators and EPC contractors matched to your project's refrigerant policy, capacity, country and service coverage — usually within 5–10 business days. We disclose what was checked and what was not.
RFQ support
We turn your scope into a structured RFQ: duty and pull-down, envelope assumptions, refrigerant, electrical supply, standards, commissioning, spare parts, Incoterms and delivery window. Then we normalise the returning quotes into one comparison table.
Financing direction
We help assemble the financing-readiness pack — capex breakdown, equipment list, timeline, offtake evidence — and point toward third-party lenders, leasing providers, development finance and export credit agencies. ColdMatch Group is not a lender or financial advisor and makes no credit decision.
Project matching
When a buyer approaches us in your market and specialisation without an advisor, we can route that project to partner consultants rather than handling the advisory ourselves.
How we get paid
Nothing to pay up front, and nothing agreed before you see it in writing. Typical ranges below — the exact number depends on how involved you are: an introduction only, owning the technical scope, or managing the client end to end.
| Project size | Typical model | Indicative range |
|---|---|---|
| USD $250K – $1M | Success fee on supplier contract signature | 3% – 5% |
| USD $1M – $5M | Success fee, milestone-linked | 2% – 3.5% |
| USD $5M – $20M | Success fee + scoped advisory retainer | 1% – 2% |
| USD $20M+ | Negotiated per project, written scope | Case by case |
- • Payment trigger: supplier contract signature or first milestone payment, as written in the partner agreement.
- • Repeat clients from the same consultant stay attributed to that consultant.
- • Multiple projects from one consultant can move to a framework agreement with better terms.
- • Referral-only introductions and full technical ownership are priced differently.
Straight answers
Will you contact my client?
No — not unless you ask us to. Your client relationship stays with you, and supplier questions come back through you.
How involved are you?
You decide. Some consultants use us only for a supplier shortlist; others hand over the whole RFQ and comparison. Either is fine.
How do I get paid?
We agree a simple success fee in writing before we approach any supplier. Nothing is charged to you up front.
Are the suppliers checked?
Yes — we check them against published criteria before they reach your shortlist, and we tell you what we couldn't verify.
Can it carry my brand?
Yes. Comparison packs and RFQ documents can be issued unbranded so you present them under your own name.
What if I already have suppliers?
Keep them. We just add comparable alternatives so your client sees a fair comparison — your supplier can be in the same RFQ.
What size projects suit this?
Industrial cold chain projects from roughly USD $250,000 upwards, though we'll tell you honestly if a smaller one still makes sense.
Frequently asked questions
What is a cold chain consultant partner program?
A cold chain consultant partner program is a structured arrangement in which an independent procurement platform supports consultants and refrigeration engineers with supplier sourcing, RFQ preparation, technical comparison and financing direction, while the consultant keeps the client relationship. ColdMatch Group runs this program for industrial refrigeration, cold storage, blast freezing, IQF and cold logistics projects, typically from USD $250,000 upward.
How can cold chain consultants find verified equipment suppliers?
Consultants submit the project scope (temperature regime, capacity, product, country, timeline and budget band) and ColdMatch Group returns a shortlist of qualified third-party suppliers matched to that scope. Qualification checks cover company registration, manufacturing or integration capability, export and installation references, documentation standards and service coverage in the project country. ColdMatch Group is supplier-neutral and does not manufacture, resell or distribute equipment.
How can refrigeration engineers prepare better RFQs?
A strong refrigeration RFQ states the storage or process duty (tonnes, pallets or kg/h), design and ambient temperatures, product entry and target temperature, pull-down time, insulation and envelope assumptions, refrigerant policy (NH3, CO2, HFC/HFO), electrical supply, site constraints, standards and commissioning scope, plus commercial terms: Incoterms, delivery window, spare parts and warranty. ColdMatch Group's RFQ Builder generates this structure so quotes are comparable line by line.
How does ColdMatch Group support consultants?
ColdMatch Group works behind the consultant: supplier discovery and shortlisting, RFQ preparation and normalisation, quote comparison tables, technical clarification rounds, country context (duties, standards, logistics), financing direction toward third-party lenders and export credit routes, and documentation packs the consultant presents to the client under their own advisory brand.
Can consultants keep control of their client relationship?
Yes. The consultant remains the client-facing advisor unless a different arrangement is agreed in writing. ColdMatch Group can operate white-label, join technical calls only when the consultant invites us, and sign an NDA and no-circumvention agreement before project data is shared.
Does ColdMatch Group contact the consultant's client directly?
No. Under the partner program ColdMatch Group does not approach the consultant's client directly. Supplier contact, clarifications and quote handling run through the consultant, or through a jointly agreed channel documented in writing before the project starts.
How are partner commissions handled?
Commission is agreed in writing before supplier contact and is normally a success fee triggered on supplier contract signature or first milestone payment, depending on the model chosen. Ranges scale with project size and the consultant's role: referral-only introductions sit at the lower end, and consultants who own the technical scope and client relationship sit at the higher end. Repeat clients from the same consultant stay attributed to that consultant.
What project sizes does the consultant program cover?
The program is built for commercial and industrial cold chain projects from roughly USD $250,000 to $100M+, including cold storage warehouses, blast freezers, IQF lines, ice plants, dairy, meat and seafood processing cold rooms, pharmaceutical cold chain and distribution hubs.
Are the suppliers verified?
Suppliers are qualified against documented criteria before they enter a shortlist, and ColdMatch Group discloses what was checked and what was not. ColdMatch Group is not a party to the supply contract: quality, delivery, installation and performance remain the responsibility of the supplier the client contracts with.
Can ColdMatch Group support project financing?
ColdMatch Group is not a lender, bank or financial advisor. We help consultants structure the financing-readiness pack — capex breakdown, equipment list, timeline, offtake evidence — and point toward third-party lenders, leasing providers, development finance and export credit agencies. Any credit decision belongs to those institutions.
What does the consultant intake form ask for?
One short form: your name, company or consultancy, email and WhatsApp, what best describes you (consultant, refrigeration engineer, EPC advisor, and so on), the client project country, project type, estimated budget band, timeline and the equipment needed. Temperature range, capacity and free-text notes are optional extras you can add if the scope is already defined.
Do I need a full technical specification before submitting a project?
No. Budget band, country, project type and equipment type are enough to start. If temperature range, capacity or drawings already exist you can add them in the optional detail section, and we use them to tighten the supplier shortlist. Where data is missing we help build the specification before any supplier is contacted.
What happens after a consultant submits the intake form?
You get an acknowledgement by email, and we come back with clarifying questions or a supplier direction — typically within one to two business days. Contact stays with you: by default we do not approach your client, and NDA or no-circumvention terms can be signed before project data is circulated.
