Our responsibility note: animals and the planet

ColdMatch Group supports animal welfare and appropriate handling conditions for live animals and animal-derived food — such as seafood, eggs, meat and dairy — wherever they pass through cold-chain facilities. We also support practical environmental sustainability, for example energy-efficient refrigeration, lower-impact refrigerants and less food loss.

Our 2% commitment

ColdMatch Group commits to investing 2% of its profits in initiatives that support the planet and animals. This is a forward commitment based on profits; it does not mean that any investment has already been made, and no recipients have been named.

What this note is not

This is a statement of values, not a certification, audit or guarantee. It does not mean that ColdMatch, suppliers, carriers or logistics providers meet any audited animal-welfare or environmental standard. ColdMatch does not operate transport or storage, and we do not claim supplier compliance without evidence. Buyers should confirm the welfare, food-safety and environmental requirements that apply to their project with the competent authorities and their own advisers.
