Industrial cold storage warehouse served by ColdMatch procurement specialists

Company profile

Specialist review for complex cold-chain procurement.

ColdMatch Group is the industrial refrigeration and cold-chain procurement platform of Global B2B Group, where commercial and industrial buyers build a project and submit an RFQ; the ColdMatch team validates and organizes it, contacts suitable refrigeration technology and equipment suppliers on the buyer's behalf, and presents organized responses through ColdMatch.

Who we are

A procurement platform built around the project brief.

ColdMatch helps project owners turn an early refrigeration requirement into a clearer commercial and technical brief before approaching the market.

We are supplier-neutral and human-led. ColdMatch does not operate as an automatic directory, represent one equipment brand or introduce suppliers before the requirement is understood.

Our network spans 100+ refrigeration technology and equipment suppliers. The right candidates are researched for each project rather than ranked through paid placement.

Relevant experience

Experience is assessed against the duty, not reduced to a logo list.

ColdMatch applies industrial refrigeration procurement knowledge across the following project environments. Specific engineering and delivery experience remains the responsibility of the suppliers considered for each brief.

Cold storage facilities

Chilled and frozen warehouses, distribution centres, cold rooms, loading interfaces and temperature-zone planning.

Process cooling and freezing

Blast freezers, IQF lines, food-processing refrigeration, pre-cooling and high-throughput temperature pull-down.

Industrial refrigeration systems

NH₃, CO₂, glycol and other plant configurations, including retrofit, expansion and refrigerant-transition requirements.

Controlled cold chain

Pharmaceutical GDP environments, refrigerated logistics and projects where monitoring, records and compliance shape the brief.

Project review method

What happens before we introduce a supplier.

A person reviews every serious request. Supplier research starts only after the project is sufficiently clear to judge fit.

  1. 01

    Initial fit

We confirm the request is a commercial or industrial cold-chain project, generally from USD $250K+, and identify the intended procurement path.

  2. 02

    Technical completeness

We review product, storage and inlet temperatures, volume or pallet capacity, daily throughput, ambient conditions, utilities and required standards.

  3. 03

    Site and commercial readiness

We check location, building status, power and backup, delivery scope, budget range, timeline, decision stage and known project constraints.

  4. 04

    Clarification

If key information is missing or assumptions conflict, a specialist returns with focused questions before any supplier search begins.

  5. 05

    Supplier-fit review

Relevant companies are considered by technology, capacity, sector experience, regional service coverage, export capability and comparable references.

  6. 06

    Controlled introduction

Introductions are made manually. The buyer compares proposals, completes due diligence and contracts and pays the selected supplier directly.

How proposals are reviewed

  • Capacity and design conditions
  • Inclusions, exclusions and battery limits
  • Energy, controls and refrigerant assumptions
  • Delivery, installation and commissioning scope
  • Lead time, warranty and service coverage
  • Commercial terms and lifecycle implications

Clear limits and responsibilities

ColdMatch is not a manufacturer, reseller, engineering designer, installer, EPC contractor, lender or certification body. We do not guarantee prices, performance, approvals, finance or delivery.

The buyer conducts final due diligence and makes every technical and commercial decision. The selected independent supplier or contractor carries responsibility under its direct contract with the buyer.

Bring the requirement before you bring it to market.

Share what is known about the product, temperatures, size, location and timing. ColdMatch will review the brief and identify the next procurement step.
