How the pilot works

Pilot case study: logistics agent prepares a pharma GDP cold room RFQ
A pharma supply-chain copilot was helping a vaccine distributor in East Africa plan a new +2 to +8 °C GDP cold room of roughly 600 pallet positions, with unreliable grid power and a strict qualification deadline before a donor-funded programme start.

How does an AI agent submit a cold-chain RFQ?

The submission is stored as a standard ColdMatch lead with the Agent Code recorded, so the review team can see the request came through an approved cold-chain agent and prioritise it.
What data format does the RFQ builder expect from an agent?
Plain structured fields, not free text: country and city, product and use case (food, pharma/GDP, agriculture, logistics, industrial), target temperature range in °C, pallet positions or net m³, facility type, available voltage/phases/kVA, generator or UPS autonomy hours, solar or hybrid requirements, target order date, commissioning date and an indicative USD budget band. ColdMatch also publishes a public, read-only MCP server at /api/public/mcp with tools to estimate cooling load and prepare an RFQ brief before submission.
What does the Free Priority RFQ Review include?
A human review of the submitted project data, a check of temperature range, volume, power and backup assumptions, identification of missing information, and a structured supplier-ready RFQ brief returned to the buyer. It does not include a guaranteed supplier, guaranteed pricing or a guaranteed timeline.
Which cold-chain projects are a good fit for agent submission?
Cold rooms, refrigerated warehouses, blast freezing and IQF lines, pharma GDP cold storage (typically +2 to +8 °C with backup power), seafood, meat and poultry chilling, cold-chain logistics hubs and solar-hybrid cold rooms — generally USD 250,000 and above. Domestic refrigerators, home or office air conditioning, small repairs and spare-parts-only enquiries are out of scope.
Does the agent communicate with ColdMatch automatically?
No. Submission is one-way: the agent prepares and submits the structured RFQ, and a human at ColdMatch replies to the human buyer by email or WhatsApp. There is no live bidding, no automatic supplier matching and no API that returns supplier quotes. ColdMatch is not an automatic marketplace — David and the team review serious requests manually, prepare the brief and only then search for and introduce suitable suppliers.
