Buyer journey

From cold-chain project request to refrigeration EPC and financing introductions

ColdMatch Group is the industrial refrigeration and cold-chain procurement platform of Global B2B Group. We are not an automatic marketplace: we review your project first, then manually introduce relevant independent EPC contractors, suppliers and — if you need it — financing partners.

  1. 1. Submit one project request

Describe your cold storage, blast freezing or industrial refrigeration project: capacity, temperatures, location, timeline and budget range (USD $250K+). One request, no obligation.

  2. 2. ColdMatch reviews the request

A person — not an algorithm — reads every request. We ask follow-up questions until the scope, site conditions and commercial goals are clear.

  3. 3. We prepare a project brief

Your requirements become a structured brief: cooling duty, room layout, refrigerant preference, standards and delivery model (equipment supply, design-build or turnkey EPC).

  4. 4. Financing readiness (optional)

If you need funding, we check what a financing partner would typically ask for. Qualified projects may be introduced to independent financing partners. ColdMatch and Global B2B Group do not lend or give financial advice; eligibility and terms are decided only by the financing institution.

  5. 5. EPC contractor and supplier search

Only after the project is understood do we research suitable third-party EPC contractors and refrigeration suppliers for your country and scope.

  6. 6. Manual introductions

The ColdMatch project team introduces a short list of relevant contractors and, where requested, financing partners. Nothing is auto-forwarded and your details are shared only with your agreement.

  7. 7. Compare proposals and decide

Compare quotations on a like-for-like basis using our RFQ and comparison guides. You contract directly with the contractor and financier you choose.

Send your project details here. The ColdMatch project team reviews every request before any supplier or EPC contractor is contacted.

ColdMatch facilitates sourcing and RFQs; it does not manufacture, sell, import or export the listed products and is not a regulatory authority. Suppliers are responsible for their products meeting the requirements of the origin and destination countries; buyers for import permissions, local rules and due diligence. Requirements vary by product and country, and the team checks requests before any supplier contact. Regulation and restricted items

In depth: what happens at each stage

ColdMatch is a managed matching service, not an automatic marketplace. Here is what each stage involves and what you can prepare to move faster.

Before you submit

The better the first brief, the faster the right suppliers can be identified.

  • Project type, location and target timeline
  • Capacity (pallets, m³ or tonnes/day) and temperature levels
  • Budget range — ColdMatch focuses on projects of USD $250K+
  • Whether you need equipment only, installation, or full EPC delivery
  • Whether you want to be introduced to independent financing partners

Review and project brief

ColdMatch reviews the request, may ask follow-up questions and prepares a project brief. A supplier search only begins once the project is understood.

Manual introductions

Relevant suppliers, EPC contractors and — where requested and the project qualifies — independent financing partners are introduced manually. ColdMatch and Global B2B Group do not lend money or give financial advice.

Comparing proposals and deciding

You receive proposals directly from the introduced companies and negotiate with them. Compare them on the same scope boundary, lifetime energy cost, service capability and contract terms. The final choice and contract are always between you and the supplier.

Build a decision file before contract award

Keep one comparison record covering technical compliance, exclusions, energy assumptions, delivery milestones, payment terms, warranties, service response and references. Resolve every material exception in writing before selecting a contractor.

  • Confirmed scope and interface responsibility matrix
  • Comparable CAPEX and estimated operating cost
  • Programme, factory testing and commissioning milestones
  • Performance guarantees, remedies and warranty boundaries
  • Named local service team and critical-spares plan

Figures and ranges here are general engineering guidance, not quotes. Final design, pricing and compliance are set by the independent suppliers and contractors ColdMatch introduces after reviewing your project.

Share your design basis once. ColdMatch reviews it before identifying suitable independent suppliers or EPC contractors.
