Frequently asked questions
What freezing temperature is needed for tuna?+
Sashimi-grade tuna typically requires super-freezing at −55 to −60°C to lock color and quality. Standard commercial tuna and whitefish use blast freezing at −35 to −40°C.
Do you source ice plants as well as freezers?+
Yes — flake, tube and block ice plants are sourced alongside blast freezers and cold storage so processors get one benchmarked package.
Is the equipment compliant for EU seafood export?+
Yes. Designs and documentation are compatible with EU export approval, HACCP and MSC chain-of-custody requirements.
